A FEW LITTLE ANSWERS
Before you
settle in.
Can I use Family Nest on my phone?
Yes. Open the planner in Chrome on Android and choose Add to Home screen → Install. Family Nest opens in its own app window. An internet connection is required to use your planner.
Does everyone need an account?
People who sign in need their own invited account. Children and other household members can have profiles with names, colours, chores and stars without a login.
Who can see Me Money?
Me Money entries are returned only to the signed-in account that created them. Other family accounts can see shared Income, Bills and Essentials. Family totals exclude Me Money.
How do I join my family?
Ask your family owner to invite your email address from Account → Email invitations. Use that same email when signing in or creating your Family Nest account.
Where are our plans stored?
Family planner records and account profiles are stored in the Family Nest Supabase project in Sydney, Australia. Google sign-in and invitation emails use their respective authentication and email services. Only invited family accounts can access planner records.
